Sick-child visits

When your child is sick, you know how important it is to be seen by a doctor quickly. At Novant Health Meadowlark Pediatrics, we work to make sure same-day appointments are regularly available. If your child is sick, please call our office at 336-277-7030 so that we can schedule your appointment as quickly as possible. Please mention during your call that you would like your child to be see quickly.

After-hours calls

After-hours calls are handled by a team of triage nurses. This team will get your information to your child's provider as needed, and you will receive a call back if your child's provider sees that your issue cannot wait until our office is open. If your child is ever having a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or head to your closest emergency room!

Weekday walk-in clinic

We offer a walk-in clinic every morning from 8 until 9 a.m. Your child can be seen during this time without an appointment on a first-come, first served basis. This time is meant to address common illnesses including ear infections, sore throats, colds and fevers so parents can make decisions about that day's school or daycare attendance. If your child has a more complicated concern or an illness lasting for longer than three days, please call our office to schedule an appointment.

Sunday sick clinic

Our office opens at 1:00 p.m. on Sundays for sick patients only. These hours are by appointment, so please call our office in advance if you would like your child to be seen. No well-child services are offered during our Sunday sick clinic hours.
