Prescription refills

If your child needs a refill of a medication prescribed by a provider at Novant Health Meadowlark Pediatrics, please call your pharmacy when you have at least a three-day supply of your child's medication remaining. This will give your pharmacist time to fill the prescription or to call our office if permission is needed. Calling our office instead of your pharmacy can delay this process.

If your child is having difficulty taking any prescribed medication, please let your pharmacist and our office know.

Please note: Prescriptions for certain medications must be picked up at our office instead of called in to your pharmacy. If your child's prescription is one of these, you will be alerted when the medication is initially prescribed.
